The Lakeshore residence blends subtle Indian influences with modern sensibility. The clients, originally from Gujarat India, wanted a modern house with elements of the rich traditions of their homeland integrated. The architect, Juan Miro, of Miro Rivera Architects incorporated an abstracted version of the stone dome into the entry, and the “paja” (prayer room) which is the tallest element in the home, according to Indian tradition.

The owners requested an extensive use of white stone and glass at which the architects responded accordingly.
